Satyananda Yoga Center teaches Bihar School of Yoga classes in Austin, Texas.

Bihar School of Yoga class teaches the science of yoga comprehensively:

to differing ages and people's requirements to meet contemporary needs for good health & balance of body, mind, emotions, energy and spirit. 

Yoga is taught gently & compassionately to suit today's lifestyle.

Authentic yoga is taught in every Bihar School of Yoga class (uncorrupted & unadulterated), not aerobicized, accessible to everyone.

The teachings and practices of Bihar School of Yoga are open to all - all religions, all races & ethnicities, all ages (7 & up), all belief systems.

Satyananda Yoga Center teaches yoga appropriate to one's level. 

Yoga practices suitable to your level (beginner or intermediate or with physical limitations), age, therapeutic needs and interests are taught.

 Satyananda Yoga Center serves as part of fulfilling the mission 'spread yoga from shore to shore and from door to door' that Paramahamsa Satyananda Saraswati was given by Swami Sivananda, for the welfare & well-being of people. 

 

All classes teach yoga poses, breathing practices, relaxation (shavasana, yoga nidra) cleansing (detox) practices and techniques, concentration techniques and various traditional meditations as applicable to various ages and levels.
